I am in private Psychiatric practice in Calgary, AB.
I am gravely concerned to hear of the loss of the Gender Identity Disorder Clinic at CAMH and of the travesty that is what has happened to Dr. Ken Zucker. I have personally referred several clients who have travelled to Toronto to see Dr. Zucker and his team, and who have benefitted significantly from their input. The loss of this clinic and Dr. Zucker's leadership in this highly underserviced area will be felt profoundly by clinicians across the country and the patients we are attempting to serve. The reputation of CAMH has suffered significantly in my eyes. I hope that this petition will be taken seriously.
