Let's recognise science - anthropology, biology and experimental proof, as opposed to pseudo science, unprovable theory and emotional terrorism directed at the laws of the land. Despicable, damaging.

I accidentally signed the petition and want to clarify that I am NOT in support of this petition. Isak de Vries

The closure seems to be in response to misinformation and, as is stated in the petition, a politically correct type of response to a very small number of individuals. The closing seems to be pacification for critical and unverified comments from a group that, notwithstanding claims, does nto reporesent either all transpeople nor especially potentially trans children.

Dr. Zucker is not/was not a proponent of "conversion" therapy but rather a caring, responsible practitioner guided by and contributing to reputable, careful, peer reviewed research. His loss from CAMH and the sullying of his reputation is the sort of McCarthyism that should have no place in Canadian science or health care.

I worked with Dr. Zucker throughout the DSM-5 process. He was an excellent leader for our working group. Very organized and paying attention to details. Very knowledgeable especially about gender identity disorders. I am very distressed to hear about the closing of the GID clinic especially if unverified and alleged observations and accusations are primarily responsible for this major loss.

Ken Zucker is a highly respected professional in the field. The disgraceful way CAMH treated him is a political maneuver that has nothing to do with science, ethics or proper treatments

clearly an unethical act on the part of the Toronto Centre -- Dr. Zucker should be reappointed immediately and apology letters should be written by the board os trustees. Richard A, Crosby, PhD, University of Kentucky
