Belfast City Airport Carpark is fine for all those corporate clients claiming costs on expenses. The ordinary Joe Bloggs can't afford car parking thats more expensive than the flights

There is no need for Belfast City Airport to take this action, I'm sure they earning more than enough than to have this monopoly. Belfast City Airport care's more about it's own Bank Balance and would rather rip of customer's rather than letting them save a few quid.

There "IS" a need for healthy competition in this area so that the city airport do NOT dominate the market and get to charge over the top prices for parking. It is a disgrace this was rejected and would question the integrity of some on the local council who's friends and/or colleagues may so happen to sit on the Belfast City Airport Forum

£35 for 2 nights parking at the City Airport is piracy! Why shouldn't there be a local competitor offering more cost effective parking for those that don't mind the short transfer to the terminal. Very unfair.

Competition is essential. The "Official" car park prices must be the highest in all of the UK. How can planning be refused when the CAR PARK is already there ?

This is absolutely ridiculous.
Now i am being forced to park in Belfast City Airport - and pay exorbitant fees, the price of a government backed monopoly! .
So much for free enterprise in Northern Ireland! !!!

There is a need for this car park, not only has it been providing competition but also better value for money than the monopoly that exists now at Belfast City - £35.00 for just over 24 hours, is that reasonable?

There is definitely a need for this airport parking facility apart from choice & price there is no minibus from the long stay airport which often means getting soaked on the 10 minute walk to the terminal. GB will no longer be my airport of choice & I hope carriers move back to Belfast International where there is cheap parking!
