Competition is needed - parking at airport is very expensive and this decision gives the airport a monopoly. Bring back Boal's Car Park

Wonderful news today (Oct 18th) about the Council planners in Belfast. I didn't know that I pay for them to park their cars at work, and much less that the council did not bother with planning permission for them! How arrogant? That they dictate to me which car park I must use and how much I pay when I fly from the City Airport. What a pity ratepayers can't/won't organise to humble them.

The team at Boal provided an excellent service. A real loss to N.Ireland now they can no longer trade at City Airport

Great service provided by BOAL - really efficient & friendly. Competition is needed....City Airport prices are a rip off.....£23 charge for arrival & depart on same day!!!

City Airport parking is a ripoff !! Boal offered great competition and a very efficient parking service. Horrified to see good competition being quashed!

Boal offered an excellent low cost alternative to the expensive on site parking offered at the City Airport. If travelling on a budget Boal was the excellent option.

It's a joke to reject planning saying there isn't a need. If a business can't sell its product it closes! If it can sell it's product it proves there is a need!!! The planners shouldn't be able to reject an application due to the commercial concerns of a rival; that's what competition is all about.

I used this carpark regularly when i was getting a flight at the city airport. It was a great service, great value for money and very reliable.

You MUST be allowed to open again.
£23 to park for one day!!!!! What a RIP OFF. My flight was cheaper. I won't use it I'll park off site and get a taxi.

With only one car park at the airport it is very expensive and no competition to reduce prices. All.other airports offer off site parking at discounted prices

Most airports have the capacity for parking users cars, but the choice of where to park should be left to each customer; where they are left with a choice, that is. Sounds like Sepp Blatter may be running this show. The wholesale rip-off at the City airport is why me or my family go via BFS or Dublin now, and we live near Belfast

It is a disgrace that this planning has been withdrawn. There is certainly a need for competition as the cost of parking is way too high.
