There is definitely a requirement for additional off site parking due to the extortionate prices Belfast City Airport charge - I now fly from Belfast International instead as save approx £50 between flights and car parking.

Not only is there a clear need for further parking, ( I have frequently spent many minutes driving around the on-site car park looking for possible spaces to no avail ) but ther is a clear need for competetive priced parking. Without this, airport parking is unjustly too expensive. Compare prices at International airport for proof.

belfast city airport need another place to park as the charges for airport parking are crazy what they have quoted for two days i can park at international for 10 days so will be flying from the international

This carpark should be reopened! The airport has a monopoly on parking so can therefore charge what they like! Local businesses should be allowed to compete for business fairly by offering customers of the airport a choice.

Offsite car park is required due to price monopoly the city airport has. Pricing is astronomical. Give us some choices.

There certainly is a need for Boal Car Park, otherwise the city airport will charge whatever they like. They need competition to help keep the charges down.

Very disappointed in the planning decision - it was a useful use of space which was already a car park and was a very useful service which I miss already.

My family and I have used this service often and think it is vital. Otherwise isn't parking at Belfast City Airport a monopoly. Isn't there a law against such set ups?? There is definitely a need for this fantastic service.

There are two barbers shops in my town. Should we close one because it is 'not needed'? Seems to me like a council swindle scheme. The reason we need the car park is because we can not afford the extortionate prices the City Airport are forcing us to pay.

have used Boal on several occasions and anyone who says there is no "need" doesn't live in the real world. Good reliable service much cheaper than official airport parks. Is this thermal reason?

At Belfast City airport, an elderly passenger such as me (84) generally has to park far from the terminal building and haul his luggage on foot in all weathers to the terminal. There is no shuttle bus, unlike Boal's which offers a regular free shuttle.

The price of parking at the Airport itself is nothing short of disgraceful and it is not acceptble to have the monopoly on airport parking in this day and age.
