There is a need for Boal Car Park

I have always used this carpark and would like to know why it has been forced to close. It has always been a busy carpark and it just seams that anything that is doing well the council feel the need to close it down.

This is once again a ridiculous decision by the planning departments in Northern Ireland. It has to beg the question of corruption within the planning office!!! But should we be surprised look at the rest of the government!!! We live in a capitalist free market Why is a business being stifled and the public being rail-roaded in to paying over the odds for parking at the City airport. Another example of the backward thinking in Northern Ireland, excuse me if that cuts but it's the truth on so many levels!!!

IT IS REDICULOUS THAT THERE IS NO ALTERNATIVE CAR PARKING TO THE AIRPORT'S CARPARKS. THEY CHARGE APPROXIMATELY 3 TIMES THE RATE BOALS DID FOR 1 DAYS PARKING. IT IS WHOLLY IRRATIONAL THERE IS NO ALTERNATIVE AND THE PRICES THE AIRPORT CHARGE A GOOD EXAMPLE OF WHAT A MONOLPOY CAN DO. I WILL SAY NO MORE FOR A VARIETY OF REASONS.

I ALWAYS use Boal when flying from city airport. Excellent rates and fantastic service! Terrible shame it has been closed-reopen Boal!

Disgraceful this car-park has been closed. There is a real need for private car parking at George Best Belfast City Airport.

Why should people in Northern Ireland not be given a choice. A monopoly by the City Airport is disgraceful and undemocratic. But remember people if you continue to use the City Airport then you are playing their game and all the talk and petitions are worthless. You need to show some balls and boycott it.

I have used this excellent facility a number of times. It provides competitive rates in comparison to other providers and it should be allowed to continue.

Boal Car Park should not have to close. This is giving Belfast City Airport the monopoly on airport parking and after having checked the prices for 4 days parking I feel that their goal has been acheived, ie hold customers to ransom as in no other choice but to pay the extortionate prices!!! For the cost of the carpark I'd be expecting it to be washed and cleaned for me!!!! Not a chance!!! Boal staff were very efficient and friendly in their roles and this has also cost a loss of jobs in the area!!, something which wasn't reported on the news!!!!

Terrible to close this excellent facility. Where is the free market? Onsite parking is vastly over priced.

City Airport parking prices are nothing short of extortionate. Almost £30 for one day!!

There is a need for an alternative parking area for belfast city airport. I have used Boal's in the past and found their service and pricing to be excellent!

This action is anti competitive

Is there a parking problem at IKEA? If there is excess capacity and they wish to let out to a company offering an airport parking alternative, where is the probity in obstructing competition and the free market?

This planning appeal rejection is scandalous. Competition is good for travellers. Belfast City Airport is monopolizing parking and a rip-off. Belfast International has no problem with competition. Will use the International airport as much as possible.

Best option, best price, not unreasonable like the monopoly car park which is very expensive so I now fly from International airport.

Belfast City Airport Car Parking charges are extremely high- competition is desperately needed.

There is most definitely a need for this car park which is bussed virtually to the door which is better than walking from the furthest end of the city airport & getting soaked! Please please keep it open!
