I choose to use Boal - not just better value but friendly door to door service. The car park exists - how does this planning decision benefit anyone apart City airport bank balance?

Belfast City airport needs competition for its outrageous parking fees. The decision to close Boal is anti-competitive and not in consumers interests.

Essential car park, no support as a regular traveller for the most expensive ie airport car park In fact double cost of any uk airport car park. As a regular traveller with work I will never afford to add £26+ on top of a business trip with already hiked tax flights from Belfast!

There is clearly a need for the Goal car park as evidenced by the number of people using Boal's, by the number of people frequently waiting not parking on the approaches to the City car park (particularly on the mini roundabouts) , by the people who dump their cars in the city airport car park at the height of the season making it very difficult for properly parked individuals to exit the car park. In addition common sense dictates that you have a secondary car park, it is called contingency planning. A monopoly is poor practice on so many grounds, it removes consumer choice, it promotes complacency, it inflates prices, and it pisses people off.

another situation of the big boys trying to stamp out the small traders. Where are the local MLAs to support and get behind small businesses in our wee country.......sitting supping coffee somewhere getting big salaries for doing very little.......please keep this business open and don't let the big airport BULLIES win.
