For the planning committee to say there is no 'need' is ridiculous, allowing the airport an expensive monopoly makes no sense whatsoever.

Shocking decision, somebody obviously with a vested interest. Not sure what's worse, the shameful price of parking at GB, or the planning decisions by corrupt officials

Price of parking on site is a complete rip off. Choice and competition should be provided.

The prices at City Airport onsite parking are a disgrace. It is a licence to charge whatever they want. We need healthy competition to drive prices down. Boal was excellent when it was open. Poor move from the city council and the money-grabbing airport authorities.

I fully endorse this appeal. The availability of this car park was a primary reason for us choosing to fly from George Best Belfast City Airport

There is an absolute need for competition, so an "off-site" car is very definitely required.

This is a ridiculous situation. We have always used BOAL. A great local company providing employment. Now we are forced to use the farce of a car park at the airport were you spend the first stage of your journey getting stressed driving around for 30 minutes looking for a free space. Get rid of this monopoly now...

I flew from Aldergrove, brother flew from City same day, same destination. I paid just over£13 for 36 hours parking, he paid over£30 for about 30 hours. Seriously ridiculous.

It is ridiculous that the Airports are being allowed to have a monoply on parking and are getting away with charging over-inflated prices for doing so, whilst reasonably priced parking companies, such as Boal are being shut down. Shame on the planning department!!!
