The airports are a law onto themselves charging extortionate prices for parking and when someone puts up some competition they run to the planning department and start crying ,Greedy Greedy people .

It's absolutely ridiculous that this business is being denied the right to continue. If there was truly no demand for it then it would fail naturally. The argument that it is doing harm to the airport is nonsensical, the airport's business is to provide air travel not to provide car parks.
There needs to be a clear independent ruling on this decision. Too many of those who make these planning decisions are linked to the airport, All shareholders and directors need to be publicly named and their links to political and planning parties needs to be revealed.

The Boal car park should not be closed - during a time of recession companies offering value for money should be supported and not closed down. Healthy competition is the lifeblood of the consumer.

I object to this ministers inconsistent decisions, he should be reprimanded for bowing to the city airports pressure to permit their monopoly over parking.
