Tell me the logic in the planners decision? None whatsoever. The charges in the official car park are an utter disgrace.

As a user of the Boals car park at IKEA. I find it hard to believe that the airport is to given a monopoly on parking by the planners. As it already one of the most expensive and often inconvenient airport car parks I have used, it can now charge whatever it wants as there is no competition.

Ridiculous that planning are even involved. Ikea already have planning permission for the car park. Why should the planners then interfere with how they use it. £29/day in airport car park, £35 for 2 weeks in Dublin airport. Do Belfast City only want business customers with expense accounts? No one else can afford to park there.

Boal car park provides an excellent service.. The decision to close the car park is appalling.

I always use this car park. Customers of the city airport need to have a choice and should not be forced to use an overpriced car park away from a tiny insignificant airport.

Used this car park last week and was provided with an excellent service. Planning office needs catch a crip and stop helping George Best Airport ripping people off. I wonder who is scratching who's back here?
