I have been dealing with contracts and procurement for over forty years and the decision in the Boal case is the most bizarre one I have ever heard of. It is completely without foundation.

Belfast City Airport prices are grossly overpriced. They need competition. Boal have provided a good service at a fraction of the price and still make a profit.

Although I have never needed to use this company I would like to have the opportunity to should the need arise and don't like the idea that it will close unnecessarily with people losing their jobs.

Competition is healthy, otherwise City Airport can charge what they like. Boal have my full support and should be commended for using an otherwise unused piece of parking.
