The Students of Bexley Middle School request one of the following. 1) End the lock-down. We have found the prospect of a permanent lock-down to be an unnecessary precaution. In light of the events which led up to this lock-down, we find a permanent lock-down too extreme a punishment for the situation. Ways to control people going to see other teacher's during SGI do exist. For example, teachers could see the pass and determine its credibility. So Mr. Brown in the Student Lounge could see who is allowed in the Student Lounge to make sure people who aren't supposed to be there aren't there. 2) Deliver more computers to classrooms. We in Bexley Middle School want to end the lock-down because of a shortage of computers in the SGIs. Every SGI, several students require a computer to do their homework, however, not enough computers exist in the rooms. If the lock-down is not ended, we think that more computers in the classrooms would be an acceptable alternative.
