For years now lesser bands and acts have been acknowledged for their body of work by the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame, but not so Blue Oyster Cult. This year, Patti Smith was inducted and for good reason,But not so BOC for whom Smith sang back up in the 70's. Many fine groups have been acknowleged by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but lets face it a lot of them have not made the impact or contributed what BOC has. The fact is that BLUE OYSTER CULT is a part of American culture and for thirtyfive years has cranked out solid hard rock like it was meant to be. It's time that the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame acknowledge Blue Oyster Cult and give this amazing band it's proper place.
