The brass at the Hall of Fame think they can keep ignoring a band that defined hard rock while lesser acts get the red carpet treatment. We are knocking on the door of 500 signatures and I need you to push this link everywhere to make sure those suits notice us.

The board at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame continues to ignore the massive cultural footprint of Blue Oyster Cult while lesser acts collect trophies. Their silence is a total insult to the band and to every fan who knows what real music sounds like. We are going to keep turning up the pressure until they stop pretending this band does not exist.

First concert I ever saw at age 13. been a fan for almost 50 years. Just saw them at Sony Hall in NYC three nights in a row. First three albums in their entirety. Beyond awesome. Should have been inducted decades ago. Still rockin' and as good as ever.
Listen is ETI, what a riff and rock song. True tragedy BOC is being snubbed by hall of fame. Buck Dharma one of the best and most unique lead guitar players! Mark W
Don’t Fear the Reaper & Godzilla are legendary! The movie AND phrase ‘Heavy Metal’ would never exist without them! Are we done yet? It is CRAZY they haven’t been inducted
Bring back the credibility of this institution. For nothing else, I am certain they have played live rock and roll for more people than any other band.
BOC's music is unique and if it's not rock and roll then I don't know what is. Maybe they haven't been as commercially accepted as other bands, but that doesn't lessen the power and effect that they're music has had over the years. This band is long overdue to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. It's sad if they don't go in very soon.
BOC was a head of most ROCK bands of the times and their songs are played , hummed, on TV shows, movies.
One of the most influential bands (or what's left of them, anyways), ever! Overlooked for far too long!

How can they NOT be in the Rock and Roll Hall of fame!! They made so many great albums. The thinking man's band.
