It is 2012 and the fact that my dvd's look better than my blu-rays is a joke. I have a Samsung smart tv with obligatory blu-ray player, hd cable etc. and a lot of blu-rays look fuzzy. Case in point, I am watching Prince of Persia right now. I look at my dvd's and lo and behold, clear picture. My month long research has brought to my attention that a lot of blu-rays are like this on any different brand of tv, BD player hd cable etc. So what the hell is the problem. The fact that I'm paying $40 for an inferior product compared to dvd should be mind blowing. How can consumers be ok with this. Predator on dvd looks awesome, on blu-ray, complete crap. Some people would argue that the movie is old blah blah blah. We have older movies out on blu-ray that look gorgeous. They would melt your eye balls. Bruce Lee's Enter the Dragon for example. The point is, how come blu-rays can't all look crystal clear. I don't even like buying BD's now. Something needs to done and consumers should not let this go on. Stand up for what you money is really worth.
