RESIDENTS AGAINST UNAUTHORISED DEVELOPMENT - BLOOR HOMES, STANSTED MOUNTFITCHET

One of the UK's biggest developers, Bloor Homes, has knowingly flouted planning laws and developed land on High Lane, Stansted Mountfitchet. They have also created unauthorised access to Essex County Highways.

Local residents are accepting of authorised, approved and controlled development, but fail to accept that big organisations are not required to obey the rules set by the appropriate authorities.

We are calling for Uttlesford Council to insist that Bloor Homes cease to develop this land and remove the buildings, signage, cabling and lighting, and make good the damage to the highways WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT.

We are calling for Uttlesford Council to use their power to take action on this IMMEDIATELY. If Bloor Homes are allowed to drag out a retrospective submission - appeal process, they will have achieved their objective of creating a distinct & separate sales site from their permitted development approx 200+ yards away, across 2 B Roads.

Uttlesford Council must act immediately to demonstrate it requires all development to abide by its rules, or risk setting a precedent for all further development within the district.
