As a parents of Ava and Alex Kokalj, I don’t agree with letter sent by Ms. Thaxter about not reduction of school fees for term 3.
First, e-learning is not the same as normal attending school.
E-learning is not providing any live video session not for Alex nor for Ava. Teacher are doing excellent job but school or Bloom corporation are not providing proper tools to them, so that they can do live video with pupils.
They are not using swimming pool for last 4 weeks, not electricity and water in the school or toilet paper.
In fees are also included notebooks, which we have to buy now by their self.
Pastoral care of all students;
o Extra curricula activities such as school sport, ASA’s and performing arts opportunities;
o One-on-one tutorship. I am not an expert in PE for example – and your PE staff are not able to watch whether my daughters are executing proper technique for the PE classes that they are being set as part of home learning. Will Bloom coporation pay any medical bills for any injuries incurred on account of incorrect motor-skill technique? I have similar deficiencies in areas of science, maths, english and Arabic - all of which impact the ability of my kids to get the quality of education I am paying for from Brighton College;
I look forward to news of an appropriate discount on Term 3 fees such as that which has been implemented by your competitors including BSAK, Cranleigh school and Al Raha school.
Finally, and most importantly, I hope you and your family are keeping safe and well at this difficult and uncertain time.
Yours sincerely

Bloom Education consider a 20% reduction as a minimum. Profits should not be made when we are not getting the same service we paid for. Also whilst families face financial hardish including us.
