Much easier to donate on site whilst at work, than going to other local sessions worked wonderfully at New Town house 20 years ago

When I first worked on the site for UKAEA (early 1990's) there was a mobile unit which was always very popular when on site.

I haven't given blood in 10 years. If there is a facility at Birchwood Park, then I would have no excuse!

This will relieve the pressure of donation sessions that are held at the Culcheth Sports Club (formally the Daten).

Finding somewhere to give blood in Manchester that fits around working hours has proven difficult. Having a blood unit at BP would be great.

Due to long working hours and living in a remote area it is not practical for me to give blood elsewhere, would happily take time out of work to give blood regularly.

Worthy effort, making it as convenient as possible for people to make a blood donation is a good thing.

I would really like to donate blood more regularly, but the local area doesn't have regular offerings except locking stumps during work hours. A much more local one would be great!

This would be a great initiative, I signed up many years ago when UKAEA used to be promote blood donation. It also helped promote new donors.

This is a must, I struggle to get to any blood donor site due to most places being only open during work hours.

Please bring the unit to the Park, there are so many people who would donate but cannot easily get the time to go to another venue.
