Block the rezoning of proposed new townhomes in Moncks Corner

Why do we have to destroy our small town feel here in Moncks Corner and create more traffic issues? I say no to more Townhouses

This would be a very bad idea for Moncks Corner and that area.

I’m not in Moncks proper but development without infrastructure is crazy and reckless.

Build roads/ expand them, put in proper lights, stop signs and intersections. BUILD SCHOOLS.

Against the townhomes! That road has enough traffic! Little ones will not be able to step foot in the front yard!

Please don’t do this to our beautiful Moncks Corner!

We need infrastructure. We also need to properly address stop lights and the flow of traffic.

The roads around this neighborhood are not maintained as they are with the present traffic and you’re thinking of adding 2 to 300 more vehicles on these roads that are filled with potholes?

You are going to make traffic so much worse for everyone and it is going cause more problems then we need in our small town.

I live on Gulledge and people already act like it is a racetrack. Cars always speeding up and down this road where children play. More traffic through here is not needed. And more townhomes are not needed. The more things are built, the more moncks corner will lose the name "lowcountry's hometown". We do not need to be another Summerville or Goose Creek. Roads and schools are already overflowing. Let's not add to the chaos

They don't need the traffic, speeders, and congestion. It's already a speeding road. Children can't ride their bikes safely because of drivers.

My Son and Daughter-in-law lives on Merrimack Blvd and Traffic through there is heavy and lot the car and Motorcycles are speeding on Merrimack Blvd. More house and Apartments It just made the traffic a lot worse than it is it’s crowded in there already

Please no more housing!

There is a reason it was originally zoned as is. Bugger is not always better. We don't have infrastructure to handle what we already have

The infrastructure for the area already lags far behind the growth. While I know this is an amazing place to live, it will not continue to be so. 10 years ago, you could travel from North Charleston to MC or back the other way in about 30 minutes, even during rush hour. Now that same trip is likely to take close to an hour, even outside of rush hour. Please consider the safety, comfort, and functionality of the areas infrastructure, before allowing even more homes.

We are already overpopulated for our infrastructure. Try turning Against traffic about 5:00pm in Moncks Corner on 52. Where is the increase in police, fire, medical, roadways. Cypress Ridge has caused water runoff to neighboring properties which is illegal and irresponsible. Developers refuse to correct the situation because Berkeley Country development and code approved their building. This is wrong in so many levels. Berkeley County Citizens need someone protecting them.

Enough growth already! You are ruining our small town for money. We did not move here for Charleston like behaviors and goals.

They are going to build up and the flooding on White street and on Eagleston drive is going to be horrendous.

This is not right for our area. I live down the street from the proposed site. People speed down Merrimack doing at least 50 mph and I have had pedestrians come onto my property and take things. Until you can police and make safe the homes that are already here. Do not try and create more that will only create more problems.
