This is not a NIMBY response. Many residents in the immediate area of this proposed Sanctuary will be factually harmed. The county must carefully consider real facts regarding the injury and encumbrances represented by this proposal.

between all the grandkids and fishing it has become a problem, now add wolf. I wish I was still in loveland not up here.

Agree with most concerns - but also concerned about increased traffic on CR 74e - a road that does not handle current traffic load well due to no passing lanes, no slow traffic pull-off areas - and increasing aggressive/angry driving now!

The sanctuary was designed to offer wolves a quiet habitat to live out their lives and thus the remote location in Rist Canyon. To move them and exploit them would ruin your area and destroy the needs of the wolves.

As the cofounder of the WOLF Sanctuary, I am opposed to any plan that would turn it into a roadside zoo. It was not founded for the animals to be exploited.

We own the property directly across The County road and this doesn't sound like anything we would look forward to.

I feel for the poor animals. It is not there fault they are who they are. I agree they need to be housed in a more remote area where they can be who they are . I am concerned for my horses and howling noise. We have deer, moose etc come through our properties and this will stop because of the smell and extra people in the area. This is part of why we live here.

Having been in RfHighland for 36 years as a summer resident it is hard to fathom the concept of the wolf dog sanctuary in my backyard. Noise can not be eliminated, traffic will increase, wildlife will be impacted, not to mention smell, water issues and it is basically a zoo, with multi-personality wolf-dogs. The sanctuary should not be in a residential area.

These are not wolves but hybrid dogs. This rescue kennel and amusement park are not part of why I bought a home in the area. The howling of dogs and extra traffic is not the peace and quite I was looking for.

I do not want the wolf santuary in the neighborhood. This is not compatible and disrupts the harmony of the existing residents. Wolves will get out of the cages, period.
