Why are land use limitations respected when it's a matter of insisting on industry when conditions have changed radically in 35 years (e.g. Celery Fields), but when a developer comes in with grandiose outsized plans, those limits get blown to smithereens?

This Overdevelopment, as proposed, would destroy neighborhoods such as Pine Shores and create traffic problems that would endanger the residents of Siesta Key.

Commercial general is all that should be allowed for this parcel, Our main tourism draw, Siesta Key need not be a nightmare to access for our visitors, residents and future residents. Gridlock is not a tourism draw.

Benderson should go ahead and build what is allowed on that property. They don't need exceptions or variances.

We don’t need more traffic in that neighborhood and we certainly don’t need more retail shops when there are so many empty storefronts between Siesta Drive and Central Sarasota Parkway.
