Keep our air around our houses clean! Let this be a neighborhood we are proud to raise our children in!

Our neighborhood is already dealing with Wal-Mart Trucking 24/7 and the shale plant on Weddington Road AND most of us are underwater with our houses. WE DON"T NEED ANYTHING LESE to devalue our property. There are too many neighborhoods out here that families bought into before they realized the zoning was NOT what it should have been for schools and families.

Think about the kids and their health and air quality! Not only the neighborhood kids but the school kids as well!

Due to asthma and allergies if this plant is built I will be forced to move. I could also see tons of children needing to leave Furr due to the health risks. This would ruin the community!

I am new to the Riverwalk Community and absolutely loved how quiet and beautiful the community is here. My husband and I were very interested in putting an offer in to purchase the home we are currently residing in with our three children. I have to be honest with all the research I have done on the dangers and let alone the odor and toxins this company will bring this is a deal breaker for me. I will definitely be moving out as soon as possible if the asphalt company will be built here. The rock quarry blasts are bad enough.

As a member of the community, I feel this would cause a huge safety concern for our children and adults alike. Our kids don't need to be breathing in the toxins from an asphalt plant all day while they are trying to learn!

It's time for our elected officials to put our neighborhood and children first. There have to be more suitable locations for this type of plant. If it were optimal a special use would not be necessary. It's close proximity to our neighborhood alone should cause a denial.

My kids go to school at Furr and we live in Riverwalk. This would be detrimental!!

This is too close to a school and a neighborhood. I'm sure there is land in a more rural location on which this could be built.

this is entirely too close to a school and neighborhood. We need to let our children breathe cleanly while they play outside.

I am the school nurse at Furr Elementary and have countless asthmatics at school. Please don't put a plant that close to our school.
