This is a petition for an official DVD release of "Blackeyes" by Dennis Potter. The 1989 BBC television serial, written and directed by Potter, starring Gina Bellman, is not available on DVD in the the UK or in the USA, where it was popular yet rarely shown.

Was filmed on film but only available on poor quality VHS on dodgy sites. Needs a proper retrospective although not very PC for nowadays.

Ridiculous that this is still stuck on old tapes. Potter is a genius and this deserves a proper transfer even if the bbc are too scared of it now.
