Bishops, Reform the Church
Due to the revelations regarding former Cardinal Theodore McCarrick and the disturbing results of the Pennsylvania Grand Jury Report, Catholics who know and love the truth demand reform. The culture of cover-up, secrecy and ambiguous statements must come to a close. This following petition demands that:
1.) Clergymen will speak directly on the issue of sex abuse, admit it is a homosexual problem and make amends for these heinous crimes.
2.) Clergymen will not longer engage in cover ups and admit publicly the evil that was committed.
3.) Bishops and priests will speak the truth in its entirety, whole and undiluted.
4.) Those who are guilty of covering up sex abuse resign from office. We do not trust you.
Be the good shepherds you are supposed to be. Be shepherds who love truth and would never lead their flock to perdition. We the laity are standing up for what is right and we demand reform and change. This petition will be sent to each and every United States archdiocese and diocese we can find. Speak the truth! Speak the truth! Love the truth! Do what is right and speak against this evil! We the laity desire to be led by good shepherds.
In Christ, in the Immaculata,
We the laity who demand change.
