Catholics do not attend mass out of obligation. We seek the most intimate interaction with our Lord and Savior. A dispensation is inadequate.

Bishop Soto, it is not too late to act justly! Re-open our churches and let the faithful worship our Lord in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Do not deny us the Eucharist, the Bread of Life, when we can buy bread all week long at the grocery store! There is no justification for this. To hold off any longer is a travesty! Have faith and courage!

As a young member of the church it pains me to see our Most Reverend Bishop be so conforming. How can I sit here and spread my faith when those who are supposed to be our leaders do not stand up for it themselves. I can only hope a light is shown to him and he opens our Church doors so God may not feel his children have abandoned him as his shepherds have.

If there was a time during your ordination to the priesthood that you believed in the supernatural, return to that belief. We are all called to carry our cross, and embrace our vocation. What a glorious life it would be to stand and fight for your sheep, even to the point of martyrdom!!

We are suffering without our Eucharistic Lord. We are desperately in need of His graces now more than ever. PLEASE stop withholding the Sacraments from us. Your flock is starving!

Mass is essential. In fact it is the most essential thing we have. Re-open our churches and free your priests from obedience to your abandonment of the people of God. If you truly believe in the efficacious reality of the Sacraments, you will re-open immediately.

Please open the churches now! How is it we can go get physical food which will not give us eternal life, but our spiritual food is being denied! The Eucharist IS what gives us the grace needed for salvation. We can do mass outdoors, or we can sit in every other pew. You can give dispensations to people who are at risk and want to stay home. Bishop, you are called to lay down your life....bring us back the mass and the Eucharist!

Be a true shepherd of your flock! Open our diocese now. Let us come back to our Savior, Jesus Christ. Every day you wait, you deprive us of the consolation and grace of the sacraments. The fact that you’ve waited this long should be shame enough to make you act. BE NOT AFRAID.

This nonsense has gone on long enough, at some point we must make a stand for what is right and NOT bury our heads in the sand! Please make the stand and open our churches! I WILL be there! John Gardiner

Open up the church! How can you teach us to have faith when you run and hide scared to risk your life for the flock and your people. You think you are going to heaven after this?! Ha! You aren’t even following Jesus teaching! He died for us! What are you doing?

Open the church! This country was formed on Religious Freedom, our founding fathers and our saints that died for sacraments are rolling over in their graves!
