Quick to convict & slow to exonerate. While I appreciate the need for discretion, the lack of transparency and timely resolution is unacceptable. Frustrated and angry with how poorly this has been handled. We, the laity, have co-responsibility, in partnership with the clergy, for our church yet we are denied the knowledge and power to exercise that responsibility. Accountability is needed on all sides. I pray for much needed transformation!!

Unbelievable that anyone could do what they did to Father Escalante. They should be punished to full extent of law. He belongs at St. Francis de Sales Parish!!!!!!!!

I expect the diocese to file civil charges against those that libeled Fr. Escalante.

It is a travesty that this ever happened, but the fact that it still hasn’t been rectified disgusts me. Clear Father Escalante’s name and let him return to the church and the parishioners who support and care for him.

Fr. Escalante was everyone's favorite at Saint Luke since he was always kind and understanding towards us.

Reinstate Fr. Escalante now. He has been proven innocent. Proverbs 17:15: He who justifies the wicked and he who condemns the righteous, Both of them alike are an abomination to the Lord.

I support Father Ron Escalante, he is an honest and good man.

Jesus, I trust in you. No matter what this diocese decides, I have no doubt God will greatly bless Father Escalante - a man who is so in tune with the Holy Spirit and the will of God, and always stands up for "the right thing", the just thing. The diocese would be wise to reinstate him, and bring back God's abundant blessings and great wisdom to the people of Loudoun County via Father Escalante.
