Bishop Burbidge, Bring Father Escalante back to Saint Francis de Sales Parish NOW

It’s time to make this right!

Unless we are missing some positive evidence I would humbly recommend reinstating Fr. Escalante.

I know this priest. He is the best of the best. I trust him as a confessor, and have commended him to both friends and family!

All the accusations were false.

I think it is disgraceful that Father Escalante has been cleared of all charges yet is not back in his parish where he belongs. All involved should be ashamed of themselves. This is not right. #bringbackfatherescalante

I certainly believe that this man is great for our community and I would like Father to come back. He has worked very hard for the church and I would like to see him back.

I am thankful to the Bishop for his prompt response the parishioners of Saint Francis de Sales and I am likely guilty of rash judgment in publicly assuming a lapse in fair and just policies within the diocese. This prolonged removal our Pastor without clear information to the parishioners has been confusing and saddening to all those who like Father Escalante. I am thankful for the update that the Bishop provided and will continue to pray for God’s will in Father Escalante’s return.

It’s about time the truth is finally coming out

My family moved to St Francis Parish a little over a year ago and Father Escalante made us feel welcome the second he noticed new parishioners. He takes the time to get to know each and every member, and I have really enjoyed him as a leader through Christ, and has helped me grow in my faith. He has done amazing work and many of us would love to have him back at St Francis to continue serving God.

The Loundon Sherrif's office cleared him 5 months ago. There is NO way the diocese has better investigation methods and training than the Sheriff. Reinstate Our loving Pastor.

Father Escalante has expressed his love for Jesus so much no matter what event. I found Christ because of Father Escalante and his love for everyone. He is so funny and kind and he loves to memorize everyone’s name from the church.

This has gone on long enough, to an innocent man. This is shameful to keep him from our parish.

We got the bishop's attention. But that's about it. He wrote another letter to us pretty much saying what Billy from the diocese said. I doubt we will see Father Escalante as our pastor again. I hope and pray the truth comes to light.

Please bring Father Escalante back to our parish at St. Francis de Sales in Purcellville VA. We miss him and he was such a light to our parish!

Father has been cleared of charges. Please reinstate this holy man.

The church feels so somber and no longer feels like a community. What once was a union of Catholic people feels more like an obligated church duty where we receive blessing and leave.
