The Diocese of Arlington should be ashamed. Father Escalante is a good and faithful priest in a world that desperately needs them.

I believe in Father’s innocence and not for one moment do I believe he resigned willingly. More likely, he was made today feel guilty and resigned from guilt. This is a good man and our church is dwindling. I myself, am thinking of leaving St. Francis. Father’s marks are everywhere in this church, his vision.

Return Father Escalante to Saint Francis de Sales. This was set up by Blankship and this church is losing its members.

Dear Most Reverend Michael F. Burbidge, I must say that I am extremely disappointed with the findings stated in your letter to the parishioners of Saint Francis de Sales Parish dated September 28, 2019. I am having an extremely difficult time believing the conclusions in your letter and honestly believe that Father Escalante resigned to relieve the burden on the Catholic Diocese of Arlington. Although you promised to make a pastoral visit, I honestly don’t believe that a mass will ever result in the unity and healing you seek for our parish! This whole situation has been a debacle from the beginning! Regards, Jerry Picard

Please tell me if anyone knows how to contact Father Escalante or where he will be. He changed my life. I am so sorry about what has happened.

Stop with the smoke screens! If the diocese wants this parish to heal we need closure. Let Fr. Escalante speak to his congregation. We all know something is not right here. We are not mindless sheep who can be told to move on and ignore possible injustices that have occurred in our parish. At the least, give us an opportunity to say farewell to Father.

Still no word???? I'm so disgusted by the irresponsible denying of Fr. Escalante's innocence by the diocese! Bring him back, now!!!!

This is more pathetic... that the political hogwash that takes place in these time. Circumstances such as this, and to think that are hidden within and by the Catholic Church, within the Wealthiest Country in These United States. They seem to be hiding the truth rather than bringing such forth for all to see that a member has wrongfully been accused... Hmmm, I need say no more, otherwise it shall tarnish the Diaces further!

Father Escalante is a servant of the Trinity in every sense of the word. He evangelized me leading to my Confirmation in 2016. .

Father Escalante is a real priest, unlike many progressives who seek to transform the words of God to fit their political agenda. He is a true, uncorrupt man of God. That is why evil is at work trying to destroy his reputation. "Many are the afflictions of the righteous; but the Lord delivers him out of them all. He keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken. Evil shall slay the wicked; and those who hate the righteous will be condemned." (Psalms 33:19, King James Version).

With due respect, I urge Bishop Burbidge to step up and resolve this matter now or make a public statement as to why he is prohibited from doing so. My family has known Father Escalante for almost 25 years, and the reported accusation against him is entirely out of character with the priest we know.

Return Fr. Escalante to his parish immediately. No priest deserves to be persecuted in such a manner when there is absolutely ZERO proof of any wrong doing. #BringBackFatherEscantle #ProtectTheInnocentPriest
