A recent decision by the BISD board of managers to cut contracts from two years to one will continue to make it difficult to attract and retain quality educators in our district. Our schools are already understaffed and BISD currently has over 40+ teaching positions that they cannot fill. For the sake of our students and educators we must stop the bleeding! We the undersigned, urge the BISD board of managers to do the right thing and restore two year contracts!
