This indoor facility would benefit all sports year-round. I’ve practiced soccer indoors due to bad weather when I was a student at Birdville. I’ve seen cross-country practicing in the school as well. Knowing that coaches and athletes are working hard in BISD with what they’ve got currently is all the more reason to get this facility going! I can say first hand, Birdville takes their sports seriously in-season and off-season. This facility would get used every single day by one of the teams at one time or another! Would be a great addition for the school!

Birdville ISD should be providing facilities like the surrounding districts to provide safe and competitive athletics and fine arts students.

This is a great need! Each of our high schools would benefit having an indoor practice facility on their campus. Having indoor facilities at each high school would allow us to compete with our neighboring districts who have these now including Keller ISD which just passed a bond to include 4 indoor practice facilities at each of their high schools.

Kids spend many many hours practicing regardless of where they go to school. To not have a standard indoor practice facility is embarrassing. This helps all sports and many extracurricular activities. Sports are not going anywhere, so please invest now!!

How bout our Supt. Brown donate that 50,000 bonus he’s supposed to be getting this Spring to the indoor facility...getting paid a lot to be rated a B school!

My kid is a cross country runner and on bad weather days they are forced to run the school building to get workouts in. An indoor facility would be helpful for all the sports.

As a Birdville alumna, I support this petition after having spent 4 years in the Birdville High School soccer program, often times not having a place to practice due to inclement weather, which is prominent in the North Texas region. Birdville ISD is more than deserving of an indoor practice facility!

This is important and very needed for the athletes in BISD! I think this is the only school district around that can’t train efficiently when we have inclement weather!! Come on BISD GET THESE ATHLETES AN INDOOR TRAINING FACILITY!
