While a shared multi purpose is indoor sports training facility is long over due. I would encourage the BISD to go all in and provide all of the high schools with artificial turf infields for baseball and softball.
Turf infields = decreased maintenance time and costs. Increased revenue opportunities.

Facilities of this type are needed in all schools. We live in a wonderful area, our schools should be the "best of the best" ! As a soccer parent, we understand too well, the extreme in hot and cold! We have girls that come home with burns on their feet from practicing on the turf, only to turn a few months later, to frost bite due to the extreme cold! The sooner the better!
