- Our students need indoor practice facilities. The bands, football, baseball, soccer, and many other student programs in the B.I.S.D. area are in desperate need of these facilities. The indoor multipurpose facilities will allow them to practice in the extreme weather conditions that occur in North Texas. As the Keller school district votes in a measure to fund their indoor facilities B.I.S.D. will be one of the last in the area to provide this much needed protection. Please sign below so that our board will know your support as they debate justification for adding this funding to the next bond request.

As a Birdville alumna, I support this petition after having spent 4 years in the Birdville High School soccer program, often times not having a place to practice due to inclement weather, which is prominent in the North Texas region. Birdville ISD is more than deserving of an indoor practice facility!
I graduated from Haltom and was in the band. My kids go to LD Bell and our indoor facility has been a huge help towards all of our programs. Give BISD some facilities to help their kiddos.
As a former student athlete of the BISD School District and currently a civil engineer and PhD Student at Princeton University, this indoor facility is much needed for the growth and betterment of the hardworking athletes in BISD.
As a BISD teacher, parent and alumni I would urge my district to move towards safety for students. Heat related injuries can become severe or fatal very quickly.
As a high school counselor in BISD, time after time I saw how extra curricular programs kept students interested in school. This would assist coaches and directors in their efforts working with students. Many would benefit.
We love the HALTOM Band. Would love to see this happen.

There are always multiple kids who get sick during August band camp. This would be an incredible way to keep them shielded from the sun and keep them safe in those freak rain storms. Please consider this for our school.
