I make quiet a few mods and maps for Arma 2: OA, and have very recently branched into Arma 3. I do think the A3L team should ask developers and content creators for consent to use their content, and of course, give them FULL credit, where credit is due.

Although I was/am very dissapointed with Arma 3 after having 792 hours on Arma 2, i've come to realize the only thing keeping me playing and supporting the title is the modding community. Any modding community is under-appreciated and easily jerked around but it makes creativity harder come when you're being completely taken advantage of.

its pretty shameful when people take other people work and use it to make profit and showcase it as there own work without any credit or asking for permission.
