Biological sex is immutable. Human beings are sexually dimorphic.

Male or Female "THAT" is the reality, have all the "Re-assignment s" you like, it will never change what you were born as, Male or Female!!!

Stop this stupidity

I think biology is the basis of life and the way we live. I believe women and men are a biological reality and should be stated as such on birth certificates.

Birth certificates should indicate biological reality

It is essential to keep birth records accurate and biological sex is part of that accuracy. Let us not help serious criminals disappear themselves by the process of changing their birth records.

Those who can make you believe absurdities, can make you commit atrocities.

Birth certificates that are altered to include gender identity should keep the birth sex on it as a biological reality for accurate statistical and safety purposes.

Sex is biology Gender is ideology

This is incredibly problematic for medical treatments - types of drug are dose dependent by sex, as well as some drugs can be dangerous if used by other sex. How can one do clinical tests when there is no accurate bio data? The effects of diseases are also dependent on sex very often, the XX and Y chromosones affect this greatly. You can shove as much estrogen in you as you link, it's never going to remove the biological effects of the Y chromosome and vice-versa.

It's real reality and the identifer of the male or female otherwise their will be false reports about criminals who are male when they have raped or physically assaulted women What a sham this is !

If it's not a statement of truth it's not just useless, it's a deception.

Accurate records that reflect material realities - not subjective feelings or ill-defined "identities" -are necessary for gathering data and creating sound public policy. If you allow falsification of of official documents in this instance, surely that sets a precedent for doing so in other areas as well.

The suggested to birth certificates will have significant effects on not just crime statistics but the validity of much research such as medical research noting significantly different responses by sex.

Birth certificates record and should continue to record biological sex. Gender is a social construct and has no place on a birth certificate.

I completely understand that some people need to transition to presenting full time as the opposite sex to manage gender dysphoria. I don't however support changing birth certificates to pretend that person was born as the sex she or he wants to identify as. An appropriate compromise would be including the new gender identity on extract of the birth certificate, or a gender recognition certificate proving the new identity (much like someone changing his or her name by deed poll). But knowledge of biological sex is often important. For example, trans men (who were born female) have had life-threatening conditions overlooked because doctors did not know their sex - in one case, a trans man in labour was assumed simply to be obese and the baby died because appropriate treatment wasn't given until too late. We are seeing reports of an explosion in sex crimes by women...most of whom turn out to be transgender and born male. It must be hard to accept your sex when you so strongly believe your gender identity aligns with the opposite sex. I have great sympathy for their distress. Like many women, I was a dysphoric teenager. But biological reality does not change and not accurately recording a person's sex can have serious consequences.

Is it any wonder that UK stats are showing an increase in rape and sexual assault against women BY women when men who say they're women are recorded as women?? Humans can't change sex!
