I will buy a copy if you reprint this book. As a Scottish smallholder, I would be very interested to read it.

As a descendant of Robert Guthrie of Kincardineshire who emigrated to Ireland in the late 1700s I would love to read about this to understand why they left Scotland. Please republish this book.

This book sounds fascinating and I know nothing about the Lowland Clearances. Given all the debate on Land reform I think it would sell really well if released soon- In time for christmas stockings??

This book describes an important and rarely told part of galloway history. Don't keep it a secret, print it!

This is an absolute disgrace! Absolutely should be re-run and made available to the public at a reasonable price.

another piece of our history 'hidden' from us by our masters, please reprint, so people see the Lowland Scotland.

Please reprint this book - this 68 year old will certainly buy it. I was taught little about the Highland clearances at school in the 50s and absolutely nothing about the situation in the Lowlands.

Please recognise how important this is and commission a reprint. Several of us attended a sold out talk by the authors yesterday. There was a queue of people who had to be turned away at the door. On a Sunday. In November. In Scotland. This is not "special interest". The authors have clearly gone to incredible lengths to document a previously untold story in the interests of people whose experience of life in Lowland Scotland is still informed by the social and economic processes outlined in the book. This publication should have marked the starting point of an ongoing conversation about class, power and justice - please reprint so we can get on with reclaiming our history.

Please reprint this classic, updated or not. I desperately need it for my research.
