Students pay their fees for education support and equipment to ensure they can do the best they can out of the studiest at Birkbeck. Closes and locking down access to these IT rooms is destructive. We must do what we can to make sure they are open.
Bring back the 24 hours!! What we have now is really really shit.

I pay £13000 a year! I want a 24hr study room because I can't study at home as there are way too many distractions at home.

It's a BIG shame Birkbeck removed this facility without even informing the student body.

Are you kidding me? I rely on these rooms for my late shifts because my flat is way too loud to focus. They really didnt think about the working students at all did they.

The email from Student Services says that:
"Following a number of student complaints and other incidents that have occurred out of hours..."
Someone has clearly been misusing one of the rooms. Shame.
