Miguel Angel Torres, a bantam weight fighter in the UFC was cut by Dana White of the UFC on December 8, 2011 due to a Tweet Miguel sent about a "rape van" which was a quote from a TV sitcom "It's ’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia". It was only a joke to Miguel (many of which Miguel shares on Twitter). Other fighters have sent rape related Tweets and none have been punished in any way. Other fighters do a variety of bad things and some get suspensions and fines, some don't get any punishment, none of which Miguel was given. Miguel was cut, immediately cut. Dana White has since sent a rape comment/joke to a follower and I am including this below:
