This family needs answers and justice!

We need drastic changes to the corrupt Billings Police Department

The BPD is corrupt asf & they get away with it it’s disgusting!!!

It’s all truth not much more to say… in all honesty he some how managed to summarize everything wrong with Montana law enforcement in one complete paragraph I understand and I agree the justice is criminal hence why they call it the “criminal justice system” it’s justice for the criminals

What a shame if the police department! Could of been friends with the shooter! ???

There needs to be IMMEDIATE JUSTICE for this very loving family! What is wrong with authorities in charge of this case!!! A super hard-working, willing to help out anyone, always possessing a positive outlook with a smile, family man almost loses HIS LIFE by being shot IN THE BACK, multiple times by a low-life coward! This so-called human, admitted to slashing the tires on the family vehicle, which lead to a confrontation in the first place! Gillette didn't want a fight, so being the bigger man, turned around to walk away. I call the shooter a coward, because as Gillette was walking away to avoid conflict, was when the coward shot him in the back! HE ADMITTED TO SHOOTING GILLETTE! Why was it ordered that Gillette's wife and loved ones NOT be notified of this traumatic event while he was FIGHTING FOR HIS LIFE in the hospital??!! Why is it ordered for this family NOT to press charges??!! Why is it NOT ALLOWED for this family to be given any information or status on their case??!! Why on earth, would this family's cold-hearted landlord, evict and put them out on the street, because Gillette, who supports his family, was in the hospital, and was late on the rent??!! Not one thing about this case involving a low-life coward, who admitted to his crimes, almost taking the life of a husband, dad, son, etc, makes any ounce of sense! Not only will this affect Gillette physically, emotionally, mentally, and financially for the rest of his life, but also his family! To the authorities in charge of this case, along with the landlord, taking away the roof over their heads: there is definitely something wrong or fishy that is intentionally not being exposed! Every single one of you involved should be deeply ashamed of yourselves! Why does this innocent family, whose lives were instantly changed in every way possible, have to be stuck in the dark, paying for his crimes, while he is scott- free! WHAT AN EXTREME EMBARRASSMENT FOR BPD, DETECTIVES, AND SADLY, THE STATE OF MONTA

I live right across the street and saw and heard it all happen. Very sad that he or his family can not get justice

John is a devoted family man, a good person and he deserves justice against those who sought to take his life.
