My brother, a Native American was shot and killed by BPD on 4/24/22. I feel as this was due to excessive force and racism but don’t know where to go to find the help to get Justice for my brother.

I was also a victim of indecent conduct multiple times. Once was recorded after a complaint when my daughter was injured severely by an officer who had previously offended her as an underage child. The second incident was at the gas station where I was pumping gas and officers surrounded me with guns stating my car was stolen. I’d previously cleared up a report I made on my vehicle but after the incident I reported it to the police station and was told there was never a stolen car report.

Michael Morado was 19 years old and there were MULTIPLE trained officers and who willingly signed up for a job knowing they could be shot at. He might of shot at them not to kill or to purposely harm but out of fear. He could still be alive if they disarmed him without shooting him down like some animal. He was kind, he was loved, he was not a threat to society. He was a Boy who will never have children or a family wife or start a life. He will never get that chance because he is dead because of BPD. They had way to many officers there and he died one horrible death at that where they riddled his body with bullets so badly he had to have a closed casket.

I feel there is no justice within the Police Department. As a victim myself I was prosecuted a few or more times when I was actually the victim. There is no justice and people getting killed left and right now days has me in fear for the innocent people out there.

They did not have to shoot him that many times, I heard he raise his has up to give up but I guess they got trigger happy. We don,t need officers on the force who are going to be trigger happy.

There needs to be something done about this corrupt department. The ones we are supposed to trust and rely on to protect and serve us are murdering our little brothers, son's, uncle's, cousins, friends. Now is the time to end this corruption!
