I visit Billings several times a year, and it seems that at least half the time I find out that BPD shot someone while I was there. In addition to being dystopian and way out of line, it frankly has me considering taking my business elsewhere. Shape up, Billings!!

Billings PD shot my grandson in the face. My grandson is now maimed for life. He had no weapon at the time he was shot in the face. The officer was never held accountable for what he did.

This is egregious, and never would have happened if the person in question were white. Police should be held accountable for misuse of force.

There is very clearly a pattern of unnecessary and excessive use of force in this country against people of color, specifically against Indigenous Peoples in Montana and the city of Billings. Cole Stump's murder was the latest in a long pattern of horrible violence against Native Peoples in Billings and it is critical that the Attorney General order an independent investigation immediately to hold these officers accountable for their actions.

This is absolutely rediculous and needs to be addressed and taken care of immediately. Why aren't we protecting our BIPOC community members? They should not have to live in fear of men in uniforms with power dynamic issues. We are better than this and hold our state officials to a much higher standard. TAKE CARE OF ALL OF OUR CITIZENS EQUALLY.

Law Enforcement officers are capable of de-escalating persons with guns. Time and time again they show they just don't do it with persons of color. State funded violence against indigenous people must stop.
