I knew Bill very well and was there when he produced Kiss before they signed with Bogart . I was one of the original roadies. He helped make them what what they became. Sean Delaney may he rest in peace should also be recognized for his artistic contribution to Kiss and other bands as well. I was a witness to these two as a friend and employee in 1974 and 75.

After way to long of an absence, KISS finally got in to the RNRHOF. Without Bill Aucoin there may never have been KISS. He more than any single person was responsible for their success. Bank rolling their '74-'75 tour on his personal credit card. The pay off came when they hit the top forty with the live track version of Rock and Roll all night... he invested effort, loyalty and perseverance into a group of four musicians who all shared a passion for giving fans their monies worth. Aside from KISS, he found star quality in the singer Billy Idol, putting him front and center, from Generation X. And a young Billy Squier from the band Piper. Is knack for finding a star and treating them fairly is well known. He was a class act, this tribute to him would've meant the world to him...please make it so.
