Bill was a dear friend. I first met him when he sat behind me at the infamous Hotel Diplomat KISS show, and Gene introduced me to him. I've known Peter and Lydia Criss before Peter was in KISS. Ken Sharp interviewed me and uses some of my early KISS photos in his book.
Through Bill, I met and worked a little bit with another good friend, Sean Delaney. Sean valued my input on both KISS and Starz, which brought me to working with his other side project a band called Spike, like KISS but different. I re-connected with Bill when he brought Billy Idol out to Los Angeles and I was friends with Billy's entire band all from the same NYC rock scene we performed on together.
Bill definitely deserves to be inducted into a Hall of Fame for all his amazing contributions that he's brought to the world. His kind of vision and passion for showbiz are a rare and vanishing breed.

He has more than earned his spot in the R&R HOF.....so what's the holdup? Induct him now. It's a damn shame it wasn't done while he was still with us. He's definitely a legend in the business and deserves to be there.
