I love & miss my good friend !!!
Without Bill knowing , if it weren't for him I wouldn't b playing rock n roll or had a career in the music biz. Never thought I'd have the pleasure of him managing me & my band in his later years . He was a fun and happy soul ! Rest peacefully my bud...

Being a Kiss fan since the late 70's, of course I've been familiar with the Aucoin name since I was rather young. It was a cool pleasure to get meet him a few times later in life in the early 2000's when he was managing another favorite band, Minneapolis glam-punk rockers Flipp. With such a history of finding and working with great bands throughout his career, it would be wonderful if his rock and roll legacy were honored with an induction into the Rock Hall.

In addition to Bill's genius and vision, Bill Aucoin was a mentor to so many. I had the honor of working directly for Bill as his personal assistant for the last 4 years of his life. I will always remember the lessons he taught me and do my best to pass that knowledge along to the next generation. Bill's impact on so many peoples' lives was obvious whenever I saw him interact with friends, colleagues, acquaintances, but especially strangers, who had never even met him. People would approach him on the street, in the bathroom, and even one time when he was on vacation in Egypt. They would shower him with praise and explain the impact he had in their lives.
Even though Bill wasn't actually a musician, anyone that had the pleasure of meeting him, working with him, or of course partying with him, knows this...While Bill is most certainly a genius, visionary, mentor, etc, there is only one word that truly describes him, and that is Rockstar!
Bill Aucoin ABSOLUTELY deserves to be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!

I had the pleasure of working at Aucoin Management in 1981 when the joint was hopping! Bill was extraordinary.
