I have been hearing so many stories from people who played alongside Bill back in the day. It is clear that his legacy meant far more to this community than just his stats on the field.

Seeing this level of support for Bill makes me realize how many people still remember the impact he had on that field. It is moving to see our community come together to ensure his legacy at Central is finally given the recognition it deserves.

Bill Burrell, our all time Great! I can remember my Dad telling me " Hitting Bill was like getting hit by a freight train!"
A much deserved honor. I am not a graduate of Central High School but I had heard of him and his awesome accomplishments.

I remember walking into CHS that first day of my freshman year and seeing Bill's picture in the lobby with the All American frame. He was a very important part of that school.
