Helemaal mee eens het is hier af en toe levensgevaarlijk op de weg , veel automobilisten houden geen rekening met medegebruikers op de weg , jammer dat er eerst weer iemand moet overlijden voordat er iets aan gedaan word .

After my last visit on Bonaire last week I was still thinking that I would never bike on the island, it's so dangerous! I lived there for 13 years and used a motorcycle and I got hit by a police car!!! So I'm totally for safety of bicycles.

It is unsafe to bike on the island. The last couple of years the number of people riding a bike has increased. Hope Bonaire takes it's responsability and makes it safer for cyclists and pedestrians to go their way.

It breaks my heart to learn how Michael died. Safety should have been factured into allowing people like Michael to have a scootmobile. They need to step up and make Bonaire streets safer for the many who will come after him.
