Bike paths/lanes have been needed for years. I wish it didn't take a tragedy like this to get it moving.
Another dear friend of mine had a close call on her bike recently.
Please!!!! The roads need to be made safer... And drivers need to slow down and be aware.

It is time to move fixing the roads which include bike paths to the fore front of making Bonaire safe for everyone. It should not take the loss of someone who touched so many to bring attention to a deficit that puts everyone at risk.

Sad news indeed. MG was an icon with a heart the size of Mount Everest, humor as bright as the Sun and a highly critical eye for all things smelly going on. He also had a sixt sense when it came to people and could captivate, initiate, engage and get a result even if at times it would look as though no one cared. A great guy was wiped of the face of the earth and a lot of good sentiment went with him. FJ
