Is awful that we have to wait until another life is taking we need side walk there and in old homosassa we pay a good amount of taxes that part of that can be use to protect our pedestrian

Clayton was one of my favorite students! He was such a great kid. I am sad this has happened. Let's try to make 19 safer for cyclists so no other lives will be lost.

So terrible that a childs life has to be taken away before we have something so simple as bicycle and walk ways for our community every morning i see young men riding there bikes to work who probably lost there license or dont have a car driver's cant even see them on the road its so sad .
it is so important to have a safer way for the many people who ride bikes on US 19.

My heart hurts for this family. Hopefully, with the addition of bike lanes. it will keep others from having to lose a child or other family memeber this way.

I have been afraid for anyone walking/riding bikes down US 19 for years! There are school crossings on 19; something has got to be done to make it safer! My daughter knew Clayton and thought he was an amazing person, his life cut short by some snow birds and NO bike lane! Prayers to Clayton young soul, family, and friends!
