We all did this when we were young and many years later it has kept us in reasonable fitness and still loving riding our bikes. Everyone who grows up in the country NEEDS places to ride or they will move on to far less socially acceptable pastimes. Keep fighting lads, you have a right to enjoy the countryside and do something constructive.

Keep the fight going lads! These young lads work hard to build trails which is teaching them work ethics which will stand them in good stead with a sense of achievement which personally i think should be highly commended!! Surley the local forestry commission/council could have consulted with these lads and instead of spending money to demolish the hard work, could have used the same money to help these guys with the build! People moan and groan about the younger generation being nuisances, taking drugs or being antisocial! These guys tried to do something positive and wiltshire council pulled the plug!! Wiltshire council/ swindon council or whatever authority gave the order for demolition then u should be ashamed of yourselves!!! SHAME ONYOU!!!!!

These don't look like lads up to mischief. In fact the destruction caused from flattening the trails looks worse than when the trails were still up. What are the Trustees playing at?

Such a shame to see things like this happening, good kids trying to do a good thing, especially when kids are out there taking drugs and killing each other! Good luck with the petition...

Let them keep the jump as long as they don't destroy the living trees and are respectful, there is no reason to stop them doing what they love.

Van Road Trails in Caerphilly has had good support from the Forestry Commission and local Council when building the trails as I understand it. So why this cannot be the case else where is a mystery.
