these kids have a lot of enthusiasm that they will channel into something creative or destructive, depending on whether or not they're allowed to exercise their creativity in the form of dirt jumping. It's a healthy, non-competitive way of self expression. Surely you can let them have a designated spot?? Come, on, these kids will be paying their taxes in years to come, as will their parents be doing so now. Have some dynamic talent in your village and embrace what their doing.

Please work with these motivated young people. By working with them you can add something positive to the community (which is both possibly tax deductible and helping the younger generation understand the importance of our woodlands). Is there a section of the woods that they can use for jumps? You can set restrictions that work for the you and woodland. Please negotiate with these young people. By allowing people enjoy the woodland you are safe guarding it for the future.

Can't tell you how many times this has happened to me over the years. That feeling when you turn up and it's all gone- it's gutting! Good luck lads!

The forests mean a lot to these bikers, not fair to ban it if they're passionate about their sport.

Disgusting. What else Are they supposed to do? If I were them I would begin cultivating super strong cannabis, if they can't build and ride in they're local woods, then it'. Time too take things up a notch. Start on REAL crime, not that cannabis is justifiably illegal.

This same thing happend to me and my friends down at our local woods, all them years of work destroyed by heartless people with a digger. Like you guys we live in a small area so we had nothing to do after these were gone so we resorted to drugs and party's and just stuff that is a lot worse than spending your time in the woods with your friends digging building and being just generally constructive, It's such a shame because we never get the rights and I hope to god you guys do. All the best Dave.

please let the young people of the area be able to build and ride jumps in chisbury wood, because if you don't they will have nothing to do apart from drugs and other bad things

Hopefully the forestry commission will notice by this commission that guys like are just having a good time and are still looking after the environment as well. I have had a same kind of problem a few year back with a small riding group in my town. Best regards from the Netherlands.

Dirt jumping is an excellent part of the mountain biking sport, it is a shame that the sport is under supported as the dirt jumping community are wonderful people.

One of the strongest communities I have ever been a part of is the action sport one. If you take a look at the quality of these jumps and trails that they are building, you will realise that the skill involved is more than just kids at play. It's a people with a passion, and I'm finding that hard to find outside of the mountain bike (and similar sports) community. Look at setmurthy for an example of forestry commission seeing the benefits :)

It's a difficult time we live in where local authorities take away an area that we would use to build skill and a community and then com

The forestry should be ashamed at what they have done to these poor kids jumps made my blood boil seeing how upset they were realising there jumps were gone and to think they done this for themselves and other kids in the community

The worst thing about this is you tore down their hard work without discussion. In a time where kids are being accused of not knowing the meaning of hard work, being lazy, not exercising enough and causing trouble, you took something really constructive away from them. Would it not have been fairer to discuss your concerns with these guys like the young adults they are first to see if a compromise could be made instead of charging in like a childish bully and metaphorically punching them in the guts?

It is horrible the way we are looked upon the kids in this video are what I have never seen in my area because there was only drugs to fill the void of boredom that comes in a suppressive country, just let them ride

there is nothing bad about jumps, gives you something to do, keeps you fit, great fun, if its done right nothing gets damaged. Maybe the trustees should give it a try ;)
