the forestry commission should let you build the jumps for the kids and teens to stay out of trouble just put a sign up saying "ride at your own risk" then health and safety can go do one

If the rest of these kids are as decent as the one that I know, then they deserve support and encouragement not destruction. They are harming nobody and they are keeping fit instead of sitting in front of the TV. Let them be.

It's stupid that the council are destroying places like these, the time and effort put into these places is enormous, yet people still want them tore down. It's a lot better to be riding a bike instead of doing drugs/drinking ETC

i know what its like to have no local trails to ride but i am forturneinit enought to be within an hour bussing distance from other local trail spots, so i can only imagin how you guys feel. I know this one signature isnt that much of a differance but i sincerely hope you guys get your spot back and can begin to dig as soon as possible Cheers

I had the same thing happen to our jumps in my town, it sucks. the feeling we got when we found out they had been bulldozed was AWFUL. Luckily after over a year of petitions just like this one, hard work, lots of meetings with the city and quite a bit of fund raising, we compromised and got to rebuild our jumps in a different spot. Still not the same as before but at least its something. The feeling of community we had, had somewhat been lost as the new spot is not nearly as local feeling as our old one. I sincerely hope you guys get your jumps back!

There is very little environmental costs to this sport, it all allows young people to have a sense of accomplishment and something to do every weekend. Anyone who is against this type of forest use please give the riders your reasons and I'm sure they'll take your opinions on board.
