As the weather warms up and more commuters get riding again, bike storage at 226 may fall short, so far as space and security go. Boston's overall ridership has only increased since the building's redesign, and commercial, business, and retail visitors commute to the premises daily. We'd like to reach out to the building's administrators to create a designated place for commuters to safely store their bikes, while allowing for clear access to the building for all visitors.

Please sign this petition if you would like to see a bike-friendlier 226 Causeway, particularly if you ride in to (or out of) the building-- if even only a few days a year.

The current bike situation:
- Three bike racks around the back of the building, near loading docks/construction (3-6 bikes each)
- Three racks in front (2-3 bikes each)

What we'd like:
- Dedicated bike storage room/secure area for residents and commercial/retail tenants use
- Additional outdoor racks for general & retail visitors

Space is in short supply, even in these early spring days. We are hoping to gauge how many residents and commercial tenants ride in to (or out of) 226 to demonstrate that there is a need for additional bike storage.
